Pipeline Project will continue through Provo 

The Provo Reach 2 of the Spanish Fork Provo Reservoir Canal Pipeline begins at the termination of Reach 1 on Seven Peaks Blvd and 450 North.
COP Construction LLC is the general contractor on the project.

The project is planned for construction from September 2011 through September 2013.  Work will start at University Ave./Highway 189 near the north end of the BYU flag football fields and progress north through the winter to its terminus at 6000 North University Avenue.  Later months of the project in 2012 and 2013 will see pipeline installation from the north end of Provo Reach 1 (Seven Peaks Blvd. area) northbound to Canyon Road.  In this stretch, the pipeline runs on Seven Peaks Blvd., 700 North, 900 East, 2200 North, and Canyon Road.

 

Pipeline to Deliver Water to the Wasatch Front

The Provo Reach is part of the overall Spanish Fork Provo Reservoir Canal project, which is part of the larger Utah Lake Drainage Basin Water Delivery System (ULS). The ULS project will deliver additional water from Strawberry Reservoir to the Wasatch Front for residents, businesses and the farming community.
